My fawn Doberman was born with 3 legs and has always walked out of his collars. We went through obedience training and the trainer had no suggestions on a better collar or halter for him. I've also talked to a couple of local vets, but they don't have the experience with 3 legged dogs. It's no problem when we are home, however when we need to go to the vet he escapes his collar. Any suggestions would be a benefit.

Thanks!
catharrell78@gmail.com
Cathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06587311661489799940noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4478375259787498371.post-73309893545147703842012-09-16T20:44:20.472-07:002012-09-16T20:44:20.472-07:00Because Casey went less places with me*. But yesterday I was thinking how the weather's cooler so I won't have to worry about hot spots as much...oh that's right, I don't have to worry about them at all anymore. Fucking sucks. How are you supposed to go on living every day like nothing's changed when really it won't ever be the same?

Good for you for being such a details-nazi for obedience. I am too (guess I should've picked a different breed, right?) Which is why we haven't showed in Novice yet. Gonna have to start that soon though. I agree with you about the fronts/finishes making or breaking an OTCH dog. A front and finish is the difference between a 197.5 and a 199/HC.

Amy / Layla the Malamutehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17483472323529793052noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4478375259787498371.post-60281447738875800422012-08-06T00:25:58.914-07:002012-08-06T00:25:58.914-07:00I can only imagine that feeling. You still dream of OTCH, right? And if it wasn't for your pursuit of it with Rah there's a good chance you wouldn't be training Cherry or Chill. So your future OTCHes are a direct result of your journey with Rah, and I think they should stay linked.
